Professor Dalal has wide and long experience of developing and administering 27 full academic programs and courses at MPH/Master and PhD level in worlds top universities such as the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden (provides Nobel Prize in Medicine). He has experience of teaching students from 92 countries.
He has been regularly teaching various topics of Health Economics, Health systems, Health Equality and Fairness, Public Health, Healthcare Managements, Health and Safety Promotion, Prevention Science, Evaluations, and Research Methods in top universities in different continents for decades. He is also visiting professor in several world famous academic institutions and universities.
He is experienced faculty in Health Economics & Systems, Social Medicine and Public Health Science, Global Health, Prevention and Promotion, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research Methods, Risk communications and behavior modification.
He has supervised 16 PhD students (5 from 5 countries Ministry of Health) and 46 Master students in the world reputed universities in Europe.
Professor Dalal has delivered more than 50 Inaugural / Key-note / Plenary / Invited International Conference speeches, even invited by the Nobel Laureates. Koustuv has 135 peer reviewed indexed journal publications (120 published, 7 in The Lancet + 1 in Nature + 15 for review), experience of leading 24 International Workshops.
He is the Senior Advisor of WHO CCCSP/ International Safe Communities program and Editor-in-chief of the WHO CCCSP/ ISCCC Safe Community Bulletin. He is also the Chair of ‘International Safe Hospital Network’. He is trainer of certifiers and senior certifier of the Safe Community, Safe School and Safe Hospital programs.
He is the Editor-in chief / Section Editor: BMC Health Services Research, Academic Editor –PLOS ONE and in the editorial board of some famous scientific journals. He is evaluator of several scientific research councils in many countries (onsite more than 60, distant more than 400). He is the Ex-Director, Centre for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion – a WHO network centre, Örebro University, Sweden. He is famous for his strength in public health interventions, community based participatory research, implementations, planning, monitoring, evaluations and evidence-based policy advocacy.
